what i believe is true…

One thing I know is true is heaven because I don’t think you just die and don’t go
nowhere. There has to be somewhere people go after they day. I also don’t think
everyone goes there because heaven is a place for the people who deserve it and have been good in there life. I know that there is a after life because we are taught that we go there after we die. We all go somewhere after death because our lives cant just end out of nowhere there needs to be more to life than that. If there is not a heaven which I doubt it life would be very disappointing because some people work really hard on being a good person and all they will be receiving is a pat on the back. This is what I know is real.

Sucess

Sucess to me means acomplishing your goals or getting something that you earned for doing what you are suppose to do. Also it could mean to set goals for yourself and achieving them and feeling accomplished. Another way sucess can be shown is by having good religion in a good relationship with god so he can help you. Money is the most important for me as long as I am luxurious I will be fine.

3 aspects of my culture

If I could put 3 aspects of my culture in a box one of them would be Salvadorian cooking for the first one. I would pick that because the food is very good. The secound thing i would put is our spanish accent. I like it because it reminds me of where my family comes from. The last aspect i would pick would be our clothing. I would pick that because i like the way it looks all colorfull.

Reflective Blog

This experience is new to what I’ve been doing these past couple of weeks. Most of the time I’ve worked in groups but I have never worked in a group that is so far away from me. If I could do this again I would probably be more prepared on what we are doing. Also I would be on top of everything I’m supposed to do and do all that I can do to get it done. I would try to be more on top of things so we wouldn’t be messing up. We had some problems but luckily we made it through. I hope I can get another chance to do another one of these activities. Well it was a really fun and great experience.

The Veldt

1.What kind of relationship do you see in “The Veldt”?
I think the relationship in the story “The Veldt” isn’t a good one between the children and their parents because the children consider the machine better than the parents they have. I do not agree with the kids because that was awful what they did they to the parents because they gave birth to them they bought that house specially for them. I think they should have obeyed and fooled along with the parents, and the parents should have set a time limit on how long they could go.
2.How do you see power? How is power displayed?
I see power in many ways. Mainly I would say power is shown in respect because if alot people respect you I would think that’s having power. Power is displayed in the children’s control over their parents. i think that because usually it would be the parents in charge but its basically the kids and the house who run the house. One reason I think the parents don’t get any respect from the children is because they do nothing around the house and the house is the only one doing everything i think they think that everything can be free.

Power and Relationship

1.How is power shown in relationships?
Power is shown in relationships by protecting your friends when they are getting teased or protecting them from stuff that you know is not good. It can also be to do good to your friends and not harm them in any bad way.
2.how can power change relationships between people?
Power can change people because the person with power can get greedy and hurt his or her friend. It can also split up relationships, and not ever be friends again.
3.How can power change people?
Power can change people by making them get to greedy with it and not care about his or her friend behind and not care about them. they can also get caught with power and forget they had a friend. It can also lead to them hurting his or her friend. Also power may lead to demands and the other person may not like it.

I really like going on the computer because it is fun to talk to my friends. I really like to wear my chucks (converse) and every ones at school calls me Mango.
